Project

The Quadram Institute is a state of the art food, microbiome, and health research centre on the Norwich Research Park, working alongside an NHS endoscopy service.

With laboratories, offices, clinical areas, and public-facing spaces under one roof, the building needed a clear, consistent wayfinding signage system that could support multiple user groups while expressing the Quadram brand.

Solution

ABG Design worked with the Institute from its inception and was appointed signage design consultant for the project.

We developed an integrated internal and external wayfinding and signage suite that embraces the Quadram colour palette and visual identity, yet remains highly legible across research, workplace, and patient environments.

The final sign design supports confident navigation through this complex, multi-disciplinary facility and complements the building’s contemporary architecture.
