Meet The Team

Howard Miles HND
Managing Director

Howard was one of the founding members of the Cornwall Design Forum, the first Design Forum in the UK, and is also on the advisory panel for Somerset College of Arts and Technology, where he trained. Howard worked in London for 10 years with a number of notable design agencies, including The Greenhouse, Michael Thierns Design, Lambie-Nairn and Workhouse Design.
Howard believes that partnership working with clients is key to the success of projects and advocates that good design can achieve real benefits for clients. Howard has delivered effective and award winning projects for clients such as SOAS, ASI Wise and Norwich Research Park.

Jacob Petteford BA (Hons)
Senior Designer

Jacob is a seasoned designer with over 10 years of experience, specialising in brand, print, web, and wayfinding design.
His passion for both print and digital design, combined with a keen eye for detail, drives him to enhance user experiences through his work. Jacob has successfully delivered projects for notable clients such as Bath Abbey, National Trust, Historic Environment Scotland, and University of Exeter, making him a valuable asset to the team.

Siobhan Robson BSc (Hons)
Financial Controller & Project Administrator

Siobhan provides essential and up-to-date financial information on all aspects of commercial and project management. She has a meticulous eye for detail and is also a project management administrator on many of our major projects with client such as SOAS, Historic Environment Scotland and Bath Abbey.
Siobhan is the first point of contact for all payment and invoicing queries.

Annie Lucas
Audience Engagement, Project Management & Copywriting

Annie has a proven track record of creative solutions to audience engagement, especially regarding funded projects. Annie has solid project management, interpretation, volunteer engagement, marketing and events experience in arts and heritage venues.
Annie delivers every project with passion and has the ability to really think creatively, bringing a real positive change and creative output to all projects she works on. Annie is definitely a team player when the creative brief arrives and really works collaboratively with all the ABG Design team.
Annie has worked on several high-profile projects, such as Tunbridge Wells Museum & Art Gallery, Rochester Cathedral, University of Plymouth, Multiple companies and performance venues and South West Lakes Trust – Value of Water Exhibition.

Ben Gammon BSc DPhil
Interpretation Consultant

Ben is one of the UK’s expert’s on visitors, museum interpretation and informal learning.
From his experience as Head of Learning and Audience Development at the Science Museum, Ben has gained extensive knowledge of policy and operational aspects of museum interpretation.
Ben works closely with ABG Design on a number of projects where his skills and experience are adding benefit for clients such as English Heritage and Bath Abbey.

Andy Graham Master CIW
Website Development & SEO Consultant

A Master Certified Internet Webmaster with a Business Degree, Andy has worked on the web since 2000 as a “full-stack” web developer covering everything from design through to coding.
Vastly experienced with WordPress as well as building bespoke solutions, Andy is highly skilled with website accessibility and user experience (UX) practices. Additionally, Andy combines web development with the knowledge and best practice of Search Engine Optimisation techniques.
Andy has worked with numerous local, national, and international organisations such as Asda, CAT Footwear, Birchall Tea, Fullers Brewery, disAbility Cornwall & Isles of Scilly, Lang Bennetts, Stable Pizza, Vision IFP, and Westcore Europe.

Bethany Childs
Graphic Design Student

As part of our student placement programme, Bethany joined ABG Design for her summer placement while studying for her BA (Hons) in Graphic Design at Falmouth University.
Throughout her time with us, she demonstrated a collaborative attitude and quickly became a valued member of the team. She contributed to a variety of live projects, bringing fresh ideas and creative insight, and played a key role in helping us develop several exciting new pieces of work scheduled for release next year.
