Exeter Cathedral – Library & archive exhibition

The Exeter Cathedral exhibition presents the unique history and heritage of the Cathedral’s Library & Archive collection, the contents of which has been catalogued since at least 1327.

ABG Design worked closely with the Cathedral Library team to develop the story lines, themes and information hierarchy to deliver the appropriate ‘tone of voice’ for a wide range of audiences and special interest groups.

A major feature of the exhibition is the ability to transform the space from a ‘closed static’ mode to a full interpretive exhibition by opening and closing the highly specified oak panelling designed to complement the interior architectural finishes. This allows the presentation and interior space to be controlled and adapted to the diverse audience.
